Services for Eda Vercoe pending

Funeral arrangements for Eda M. Vercoe, age 92, Rt. 2, Chesterton, are pending at the White Funeral home. Mrs. Vercoe died yesterday at Porter Memorial hospital. She had lived here in Furnessville for 27 years, coming from South Dakota.

Surviving are two sons, Ernest of Chesterton and Everett of New London, Minn.; and two daughters, Mrs. Elsie Dahl or Mankato, Minn., and Mrs. Aura Draper of California.

Vercoe services on Saturday

Services for Eda M. Vercoe, 92 of Furnessville will be Saturday, 1:30 p.m., at the White Funeral home, where friends may call after 6 p.m. tomorrow.

Mrs. Vercoe died Tuesday, February 27, at Porter Memorial hospital. William G. Robinson of First Christian church, Chesterton will officiate at the funeral; burial will be in Swan Lake Memorial gardens, Michigan City.

Born June 24, 1880 in Tyner, Ind., she was married to Henry H. Vercoe, March 15, 1903, in Clark, S.D. He died in 1966. Surviving are two sons, Ernest of Chesterton and John Everett of New London, Minn.; two daughters, Mrs. Elsie Dahl of Mankato, Minn. And Mrs. Aura Draper of California; and 14 grandchildren
